With XenDocs WebDev API, the
XenDocs "engine" can be easily integrated
within web-based applications with minimal
programming. It provides Active Server Page
developers an easy way to create their own
user interface and extend or replace XenDocs
'off-the-shelf' look and feel.
Documents stored in XenDocs can be accessed
from other applications within a browser
window, through a unique URL value for each
document.
Our FlexPort API shields the developer from the
nuances of XML and HTTP, and provides a simple
programming interface for saving documents and
metadata from nearly any scanning/capture
application into the XenDocs system.
Using XenDocs IDocSave interface, other
applications and custom components can handle
events raised from the XenDocs server every
time a new document is saved into the system.
This API provides a seamless mechanism to
integrate XenDocs with most line of business
applications.
Applications without access to a browser window
can leverage an Internet enabled XenDocs Viewer
control (ActiveX) which provides an easy way to
image-enable other Windows applications written
with Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, MS Access or
development environments with an ActiveX
container.
